February Yin workshop- Patience

What is Yin Yoga - Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that works deeply into the body with longer held passive poses.

The poses target the deepest tissues of the body: the connective tissues - ligaments, tendons, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians.

Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi towards and into the internal organs.

Yin yoga's focus on stillness supports a healthy mind and gives us time to examine our inner world.

Why come to a workshop? A workshop is a more focused session allowing us focus on a particular theme or area. The group is smaller so you can move at the pace that suits you and receive more guidance and adaptations. You can develop a deeper understanding of how yoga connects throughout the whole life and how you can use it a tool for everyday. What about the theme 'patience?

Patience - the ability to settle the mind, step out from the past, pull back from future thoughts and be here in the present moment. To appreciate fully what we have at this moment in our lives. This is what we want to explore on the mat and then apply in our daily lives.

Who is the workshop for? It'sfor anyone who wishes to develop a relaxed, meditative and balanced practice. The fusion of the physical with the emotional and mental aspects of a yoga practice.

What to bring ? Wear loose warm clothing, a yoga mat, blocks, blanket etc. Come with an open mind and the willingness to allow yourself to be guided you through a beautiful relaxing Yin practice ☯️☯️🕉️
